In order to improve the living standards of marginalized, backward and disadvantaged people, houses have been constructed for homeless families in several villages of Silam, Moglabazar and Jalalpur Union Parishad through "2 Bedroom + 1 Kitchen" project through "Abdul Jabbar Jalil Trust". Corrugated iron is distributed among the poor and helpless people of the said area and this activity is continuing.
Abdul Jabbar Jalil Trust is a dedicated voluntary, non-profit and non-political organization in Sylhet has been working for developing the lives of vulnerable people for ensure peace and to upholding human rights. The organization is registered with Trusts Act of Bangladesh Government in 2013. The mission of Abdul Jabbar Jalil Trust is to help achieving a healthy population and environment, and to promote equality and social justice.
